Vaisakhi Festival at Sandown Park Race Course, Melbourne.
The Australian Punjabi Association in Melbourne celebrated Vaisakhi at the Sandown Racecourse on the 1st April 2012.

Although the event started off slowly, the Punjabi and other communities soon grew in numbers and it was well attended.
The program commenced with a Gatka in the open grounds followed by Kabadi. In the Racecourse auditorium there were speeches by VIPS, Bhangra, Gidda, Sangeet, and traditional dances.
